Narration -- “Faster than a speeding toddler, more powerful than a leaking toilet, able to leap tall Legos in a single bound! It’s Mighty Dad! Disguised as a mild mannered husband, Mighty Dad, fights for Truth, Justice and the American Family Life. We now join Mighty Dad as he meditates on the recliner of solitude …”
Mighty Dad is dressed in regular clothes, laying in a recliner. As the lights come up he is snoring loudly.
Annie -- (From off stage) Daddy, daddy! Help me!
Billy -- (From off stage) I didn’t do it!
They enter.
Annie -- Yes, you did! And I’m telling daddy.
Billy -- Brat!
Annie -- Daddy!
Joe -- (obviously awakening from a dream) And put your swords away villains! … wha … huh?
Annie -- Billy stole my Teddy Bear!
Billy -- Did not!
Annie -- Did too!
Billy -- Did not!
Annie -- Daddy!
Joev -- Whoa! Hold up. What teddy bear.
Billy -- Yeah, you got a gazillion of them.
Annie -- My favorite one, you know!
Joe -- Ah … the ah … brown one?
Annie -- NO! The purple one. You don’t even know my favorite bear? I sleep with him every night.
