Anna and Sofia are both Jarius’ daughters. The three girls are outside working on repairing clothing. Sofia was raised from the dead just last week. A bench for them to sit on is good. Basket(s) of clothing.
Mother -- Sofia! Where are you?
Anna and Alivia look toward Sofia. Sofia ignores her mother’s call.
Mother -- Sofia!
Anna -- Sofia, mother’s calling for you.
Sofia -- I know.
Anna -- Well?
Sofia -- Well, what?
Anna -- Answer her!
Mother -- Where are you Sofia?
Sofia -- She’s always calling for me, Anna, she won’t leave me alone.
Alivia -- She’s just nervous, that’s all.
Sofia -- I know, I know!
Mother -- Sofia, answer me!
Anna -- (with a warning voice) Sofia?
Sofia -- All right. (Stands and crosses to the area her mother’s voice comes from ) I’m out here mother! Anna and Alivia and I are sewing!
Mother -- Are you all right?
The other two girls giggle.
Sofia -- (exasperated) Yes, mother. (Sticks her tongue out at the other two)
Mother -- You take it easy, okay?
Sofia -- Yes, mother.
